The Shipbuilding & Repair Development Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (SRDC) is the commercial entity of the Trinidad and Tobago Shipbuilding and Repair Maritime Cluster.
It was Registered on the 18th August, 2009 as a 'For Profit' Company in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, under THE COMPANIES ACT, 1995. (Act No. 35 of 1995). As amended by the Companies (Amendment) Act, 1997. (Act No. 5 of 1997).
Our commercial entity undertakes a number of maritime-related projects and activities, which include
Undertaking S&R Presentations, Shipyard Tours for government, professionals and student InternSHIP Training. Including participation in the Maritime MentorSHIP Programme hosted by the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
Organizing Letter of Invitations and Visitor Visas for our foreign invited guest;
Signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and/or Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with local and international organizations and companies. For example, UWI-ALJGSB, Europe Technologies LNG (France) and Sejin Heavy Industries (South Korea);
Sponsorship of various Non-Governmental Organizations and community-based events related to the maritime industry, including those which seek to promote and maintain a healthy and sustainable environment. For example, Green Screen - The Environmental Film Festival 2016 and the La Brea General Council;
Ensuring a strong online media presence which includes the latest maritime news and regular S&R Corporate updates, on Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, SoundCloud, LinkedIn and Issuu.com
